5 out of 5 starsExcellent work! Our backyard was a ski slope. From our patio the yard dropped 5' in the first 20'—a 25% grade. Pro Lawn and Landscape ("PLL") looked at our situation and built us a beautiful 70' wide retaining wall that gave us a level area, allowing us to reclaim those important 1200sq-ft directly off the patio. Beyond giving us a useable backyard, the retaining wall presented landscaping opportunities we never even considered…like backyard dining with a beautiful overlook. We've even considered installing a pond that's serviced by a 5' waterfall cascading over the wall. I was impressed with the extensive time PLL spent researching our situation to provide us with the specific wall we needed. First, they talked to city hall, making sure our extensive wall met code. Then they designed a wall that exceeded those minimums. I had watched numerous videos on retaining walls, so I had a fair idea about bedding/leveling, proper drainage, geogrid usage, fill rock, and block. PLL exceeded all my expectations except price. Their price was significantly lower. This low price made me a little skeptical, but they had insurance, so I approved the build but kept an eye on them. They did everything promised and more. When unforeseeable problems arose, they took care of them properly, not cheaply/expediently, with no promise of being compensated. The wall is not just functional, it's beautiful in a way only experience can offer. For example, my plan was for a rectangle retaining area with right angles, but PLL suggested using curved ends that gently rise to ground level. It looks so much better. 5 out of 5 starsDue to some unforeseen health challenges right now, my husband and I were in desperate need of someone to plant some bulbs we ordered last fall that were recently delivered. We also needed someone to clean up our yard from the winter and the ice storm, mulch our leaves, and refresh our flower beds. After searching recommendations we reached out to Harry at Pro Lawn and Landscape. He came out quickly to look over our projects to give us an estimate. His price was very reasonable so we hired him and his team. They came out today to perform the work and we could not be happier!
